3rd Annual Central Valley run. This year we will run the Mirror Lake trail and the Red Lake/Coyote lake trails. It will be on August 8th through 10th.

The plan will be to setup a base camp in the general area of the trails. Then do a run into Mirror lake on Friday. It is only a 1.5 mile long trail, but is extremely challenging. Especially the climb out. We can spend some time at the lake and fish or swim, then head back to base camp. Saturday morning head into Red and Coyote. Red is a moderate to hard trail but then heads off to Coyote lake, which is very challenging. There is also the Strawberry lake trail to do if you only want mild to moderate wheeling. All these trails originate from one spot. Then Sunday morning all can head for home. I will get some start times as the run gets closer.

I have been asked to find a base camp that will accommodate RVs.This should not be an issue. There are plenty of camping spots near the trail heads. Also you will be able to leave tow rigs here at my place. It is about an hour drive from my place to the trails.
