Tony recently acquired his Hurst Jeepster from his grandfather. His Hurst is missing the stripes and badging, but has everything else including the special order tag, hoodscoop, tachometer, and Dual Gate shifter. According to Tony, this Jeep has been parked since the late 70's (1978 according to the sticker on the plate in the last picture). There are only 66,000 miles on the odometer and Tony said the sheet metal and overall vehicle condition is very good. Other than the "custom" paint job, the first owner had two extra gas tanks added. The engine and front clip are currently removed from the vehicle. Tony actually has a laundry list of upgrades he hopes to do to the vehicle. They may include an engine upgrade, possibly a different transmission, custom gauges & new seats. Tony said he'll keep us updated with pictures as he makes progress.
