Scott is a fairly recent addition to my contacts. Scott said that he was reading a Jeep history book (it sounds like "Story of Jeep" by Patrick Foster) he noticed a picture of the Hurst Jeepster and that it had the same Dual Gate shifter as his Jeepster. After seeing the hood scoop in the picture he went out to his garage and inspected his hood (which had no scoop), but it was obvious to him that his hoods hole had been patched with fiberglass. He is interested in restoring his Hurst and hopes our site will provide him some help. Welcome aboard Scott and feel free to ask any questions hopefully we can get you some answers.
