Gordon just recently bought this Hurst from David Pierce. Gordon's Hurst is another manual transmission Hurst. Gordon is likely the 3rd or 4th owner. The interior is in good shape, but the Jeep was repainted and the original stripes were replaced with painted on ones. David suspected that the Jeepster was sold with the tire carrier and winch as options when new. Gordon is a self-proclaimed "stock" fanatic and wishes to have the Hurst professionally restored. Anyone with suggestions of a good restoration outfit should suggest them to him via the message board or email.
